HISTORY OF GENESIS OF THE GREEK ALPHABET

 DECIPHERMENT THE GREEK ALPHABET

According to Plato and Aristotle each letter-character have meanings of

«sounds, visuals, human behaviour, and weather conditions»,

and every character have an symbolic  meaning.

Α  Β  Γ  Δ  Ε  Ζ  Η  Θ  Ι  Κ  Λ  Μ  Ν  Ξ  Ο  Π  Ρ  Σ  Τ  Υ  Φ  Χ  Ψ  Ω

Archaeological findings of Greek writing in northern Greece have been discovered,
estimating an age of 11.000 years old.

Greek  Archaic similar Ionic Alphabet, long before the Phoenicians claim the originality of the alphabet.
Another proof that the Alphabet is Hellenic.
Evidence for the origins of the Greek Alphabet

Phoenicians sea-going traders, and merchants adopting the Greek Alphabet, and introducing it to the Mediterranean countries, giving the impression that the Alphabet was Phoenician, for this responsible was Greek historian Herodotus, confusing «recent Cadmus (=Κάδμος)»  with the older Cadmus, who appeared the same era with Zeus, as we read in the Greek historian Hesiodus in «Theogony» (lines 937,975,978) and in Homer's  (Odyssey E. 299-333-335).

  Υ - Ι - Η

Each of the 3 vowel symbols sound the same, but have different meanings

Y

 (Ύ ψιλον - ipsilon)
Υ: =The cavity, cup any word that begins or includes symbol «Y» represents water or liquid substance, Using the inner hand (cavity) to capture water for drinking.

Words of objects with a cavity, convexity: κύμα (=wave), βυθός (=bottom of the sea), άυλαξ (=channel), ΥΔΩΡ (=WATER), ΥΓΡΟΣ (=WET), ΥΙΟΣ(=SON-born from moist womb), ΥΜΗΝ (=thin skin - the membrane of a virgin), ΥΛΗ (=material), ΥΨΟΣ- height (=sea level altitude).
ΥΔΡΟ (=HYDRO) - hydroelectricity - hydrolysis. etc, etc.

ΥΒΡΙΣ-hubris (=swear-abusive language).  Analyzing the word «ΥΒΡΙΣ» Υ (=spit out from moist mouth) Β (=with force violent words), Ρ (=throw to a specific direction), Ι (=ill, wicked, poison words), Σ (=repetitively).

To those who don't speak and read Greek the word ΥΒΡΙΣ has no mining, but the analysis reveal some results, this technique can be useful to analyze and understand most of the meaning of ancient Greek words.

The reason that the Greeks created 3 different symbol characters that sound the same «H,I,Y» prove  the originality of the alphabet, each symbol sound the same, but have different meaning.

We will notice how only Greek words containing the letter "Y" are in any way contracted either with the hollow shape or with the convex or with liquids. [Let's always keep in mind how the letter "Y" means literally or metaphorically the cavity (sometimes conversely the convexity), where liquids are held] .
But let's see some examples: "Y-dor, Y-gron, Y-ades, Y-e-tos, "Y-dra are some names that mean "liquid" and where they have — coincidence?! initial vowel "Y".
κ-Y-lix, κ-Y-pellon, κ-Y-athos, χ-Y-tra, ρ-Y-ton, Lyk-Y-thos, HY-dria are some nouns that mean containers (with a cavity obviously ), where he accepts liquids and — coincidence again?! contain the letter "Y" in their subject.
"But it is not only the "hollowness" or the "moisture" of things that bring about the mention of "Y".

There are also names that conversely mean "convexity" and are marked with the letter "Y" ΦX. 'Y-psos, il-Y-s, 'Y'-per, "Y-vris other and metaphorical "Y-mnos, Y-par (=apparition), "Y-patos, k-Yrtos, etc. (Third coincidence(!?): Both the preposition "Y-.po" which presupposes concavity and the preposition "Y-per" which presupposes convexity (I said k-Y-vertity) use the letter "Y" as a conceptual marker].

This semantics of the letters we do not think exists in the words of any other language on earth. And it is a testimony to the Greek origin of the letters and letters of the Alphabet. Really, how many things do we still not know about our language?!

I

Ι: Is representing fine, slim, narrow, weak objects. The symbol is used often as Y (in English or German) and often as J Ιαπετός (=Japeto) (Japeto was father of Prometheus and Prometheus was father of the genealogic tree of the Greek race).

In sound the letter I+a = Iaaa!!!, Iaaa!!!, or Yaaa!!!, Yaaa!!! is a strong scaring voice to the animals and an expression of sorrow and despair to man. «Ι» also representing the arrow, and the noise it makes when delivered from the bow.

An arrow dipped in poison give the word ιός (=poison), ιατρός (doctor), ΙΣΧΝΟΣ (=lean - thin - ill (wickedness, disease, pain), ιαχή=iahe (=sound of many people, sound of stormy sea), ΙΣΤΟΣ (=the mast of a ship or a supporting POLE), ΙΣΤΟΣ (foundation pile, to secure a dome),  ill, wick etc.

Abandoned Greek symbol used as  ΙΑ-ια-JΑΠΕΤΟΣ - ΙΑΠΕΤΟΣ (=Japeto) Jάκωβος - Ιάκωβος (=Jacob) - Αιγυπτίης - Αιγυπτίjης (=Egyptian)

H

in Letter I (iota) we learn that represents thin weak and slim objects.

H etta is the double I,I joined in the center I–I (H) for strength

Η: In sound is the same as (H, I, Y) but it differs in image, example the symbol Y represents the cup to carry water, and letter I is representing fine, slim, narrow objects. (H etta is the double Iota II joint together) for strength
According to Plato, letter H (etta) is considered as majestic, words Ήλιος = Helios (=sun), Ήρα (=Goddess  Hera), Ηρακλής (=Hercules).

In many ancient Greek dialects Η (etta) has replaced letters A and E (αμέρα to ημέρα (day), (ήβη to ήβα and άβα = adolescence), (ηχή to αχά (=sound of many voices). H (=etta) is also the feminine symbol.

ΗΛΙΚΙΑ - HELIKIA (=AGE) - (ΗΛΙ=SUN) + (KΥA=CIRCLES) = how many circles round the Sun)

(the Homeric word ΗΛΙΚΙΑ - HELIKIA (=AGE) proves that  Greeks knew that the earth circles the sun )

The reason that the Greeks created 3 different symbol characters that sound the same «H,I,Y» prove  the originality of the alphabet, each symbol sound the same, but have different meaning.
